Jenny Springer

Jenny’s block prints represent for me a connection to the traditions of the Arts and crafts movement. Through wonderfully accurate though stylised observation of nature, plants flowers and animals, the mood of her pieces is light hearted and unstuffy. The pieces that I find particularly joyous are the babies' play mats, practical and also charming, for the pleasure of both babies and mothers.
